The importance and role of the Educational System for the Economic Development of a country and, especially, Greece, is fundamental, because it aims through the investment in human resources to compensate for the local weakness in the field of competition. The, out of date, production processes with obvious the lack of the possibility of absorbtion of the technological innovations, the bureaucacy, the clintist state, invalidate the benefits of the educational process and do not contribute in the generation of wealth and equal distribution of income.
The economic development is a function of productivity and innovation and these processes are products of a healthy Educational System.
